AN INTERNATIONAL DESIGN COMMUNITY
Icsid’s Network of Members
In an effort to facilitate contact and cooperation at a global level, a comprehensive listing of all Icsid member societies is provided to all members. This listing includes the key individuals within each member organisation. Members can use this to enhance their list of contacts and to create strong links between like-minded organisations and individuals. Icsid encourages collaboration amongst its members and facilitates dialogue wherever possible.
Icsid Events
Icsid members are invited to attend the range of regular and cutting-edge events around the world. Regional meetings and events, such as Interdesign workshops, offer the chance to grow your network and increase interaction with other member organisations, while bringing your individual perspective to a global audience.
Icsid Congress and General Assembly
The biennial Icsid Congress provides the optimum environment for member society representatives to exchange ideas on current and future design directions. The Icsid General Assembly provides members with the opportunity to influence Icsid's strategic direction, by voting on pressing issues and electing the Executive Board.
The International Design Alliance (IDA)
Icsid has maintained close working relationships with The International Council of Graphic Design Associations (Icograda) for many years. In 2003, Icsid and Icograda General Assemblies approved a new alliance between the two organisations, known as the International Design Alliance (IDA). The IDA is committed to serving as the collective voice of design and will concentrate on opportunities arising from multidisciplinary collaboration. Its guiding principal is to enable each organisaton 'to do together what cannot be done alone'.

INTERNATIONAL VISIBILITY
Icsid
endorses events and projects to demonstrate that they have been
organised in accordance with approved international standards. Icsid
provides organisers with the help and support to increase their
visibility on the international scene by promoting their events
throughout its network. Members enjoy a special reduced rate on
endorsement fees and we encourage our members to make use of our professional services.
PROMOTING YOUR ORGANISATION
Icsid Website
All members are invited to submit information for publication on the Icsid website, whether it is an event announcement or contributions specific to an area of expertise. You will be added to our online member listing and will be included in our Member Directory that is created for the General Assembly.
eNews
Icsid’s bi-monthly electronic newsletter is an exclusive member service through which members can inform the international design community about their events and activities. The newsletter also features current news on design around the world. A more condensed version of eNews that focuses specifically on events is also circulated on alternative months to the regular eNews.
