REGIONAL ADVISORS

Former Icsid Executive Board Members are appointed as Icsid Regional Advisors to strengthen the regional presence of Icsid and to improve and widen the delivery of services to Icsid's Members. This honorary charge ensures simultaneous benefits for the regions as well as for Icsid.

The responsibilities of a Regional Advisor include:
  • Acting as a consultant to the Executive Board on matters of professional, educational or promotional nature;
  • Representing Icsid at regional events;
  • Promoting the organisation of design competitions, regional workshops and exchange programs with Icsid member societies, industry, non-governmental organisations and government offices;
  • Contributing to the regional distribution of news and information through newspapers, magazines and other design related publications;
  • Promoting Icsid and its activities and to increase awareness of good design and its benefits for industrial organisations, local authorities, manufacturers and consumer bodies;
  • Supporting any other activities in which the Regional Advisor can help Icsid achieve its mission and develop benefits for its members.
