Nanyang Polytechnic
The Nanyang polytechnic is made up of French Singapore Institute, German Singapore Institute, Japan Singapore Institute and Precision Engineering Institute, these institutes were transfer from the Singapore Economic Development Board in 1992. Today there are six schools offering courses in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Health Science, Chemical and Life and Design.
The Industrial Course under School of Design was established in 1997 to support the Singapore’s government’s belief in design is of strategic importance to Singapore to survive future globalisation.
