Instituto Profesional DuocUC de la Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile
The School of Design at DuocUC is the largest in Chile, with more than 5,000 undergraduate students, distributed over six campuses, all of which are located within the three most important business regions in Chile in terms of productivity, economics and entrepreneurship.

The school’s approach to the ubiquity of the discipline of design is to embrace its diversity. The undertaking of this challenge has materialised in curriculum for industrial, graphic, fashion and interior design. These professional programs incorporate a substantial amount of conceptual and projective contents over the course of eight semesters. In addition, two advanced vocational study programs are provided — Graphic Productions and Digital Illustration — both of which over five semesters provide a higher level of technical training.

Students of the School of Design at DuocUC are designers and team players capable of innovation and practical creativity, graphic expression and representation, with an interest in technology and developing technical skills, willing to assume management positions according to current market requirements.

Our mission is to strategically support Chile’s economic development and enhance competitiveness in the areas of education that we provide by producing top-level professionals who can effectively respond to the needs of the industry and the community in the face of the challenges and opportunities that arise from Chile’s integration into the global economy.
