ICSID/IDSA CONNECTING'07 WORLD DESIGN CONGRESS

Every two years an international Congress is hosted by one of Icsid’s member societies and is followed closely by the Icsid General Assembly. Since 1957, Icsid Congresses have focused on a number of design issues of ther day, which has led to the Congress being recognised as a platform that enables an international audience to reflect, share and propose directions that can advance the quality of the industry.
The 2007 Congress will be held by the Industrial Designers Society of America in San Francisco from October 17th to 20th, with the General Assembly taking place in the two days following the Congress.
CONNECTING'07 and will bring together design leaders from around the world to examine the role of design in connecting people and places, connecting virtual and visceral and connecting beauty and bounty.
