Organised by the Agency for the Promotion of Industrial Creation (APCI) since 1999, the "Observeur du Design" exhibition rewards the best creations from the collaboration between companies and designers each year. It is open to companies and designers in all sectors of activity enabling them to exhibit their most recent and innovative creations.

The APCI launches its 10th call for entries aimed at companies in all sectors of business, design consultancies or freelance designers, as well as local or private organisations.

Register your designs (product, packaging, sales architecture, brand identity, services, systems, interfaces, etc,) created, developed or marketed in 2008-2009 until Friday June 6 2008 at www.apci.asso.fr/index_uk.php

The Design Observeur 09 is a quality lable, an award, exhibitions in France and abroad, and an international conference.

A quality label for all innovative designs created by a company / designer partnership chosen by a selected committee.

An exhibition at the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie in Paris, France, from October 2008 to February 2009 for any product that receives the Design Observeur label.

An award - the "Stars of the Observeur", are awarded by an independent jury of professionals and experts to reward the most outstanding creations during the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

INPI, ADEME and OSÉO, all partners of the Observeur since its founding, will award honourable mentions to distinguished contributions in each of their fields: intellectual property, respect for the environment, innovation and technology transfer.

The Île-de-France region will award one prize to a SME.

The public will also be working.

The Design Observeur is one of 17 large international design prizes awarded every two years in Seoul at the World Best Design Exchange.  Its participation in 2007 was once again significant.

An ambassador of French design and innovation abroad, it will travel this year to Asia, South America, Northern and Easter Europe.
