LIVING ENVIRONMENT IN 2025

Communities Tailored to Meet the Needs of Seniors

There will be 838 million people aged 65 and over throughout the world in 2025 and they will be less isolated, better informed and their environment will have been literally transformed so that their quality of life improves greatly. The path leading to this major reversal will notably occur by changing the methods and behaviour of entrepreneurs, service providers, designers and creators.

As such, the IFA's 9th Global Conference on Ageing will feature presenters from companies like Microsoft and British Telecom in the invited symposium developed and sponsored by Help the Aged. These experts will be on site to explain their methods and speak to the relation between their Research & Development efforts and the aging of the population.

Help the Aged will unveil new aspects of their research on communities of the future and together with The Royal College of Art Helen Hamlyn Centre will explain how a major aspect of home construction is being neglected. Come and hear the essential characteristics of public washrooms in 2025!
