WORLD INDUSTRIAL DESIGN DAY 2009 ACTIVITIES

First declared in 2007 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Icsid, World Industrial Design Day received considerable attention following a successful series of international events held during the inaugural year in 2008. This year, designers and design enthusiasts are once again encouraged to mark the day by coordinating events within their region.

Icsid invites designers from around the globe to initiate events reflecting the theme of World Industrial Design Day 2009, 'Industrial Design: the product of human creativity'.

If you are planning an activity around this day, either as an individual, group or Icsid Member organsation, please let us know below. Be sure to include the name of the organisers, location of the event and any relevant links. Or, share any inspiring ideas for potential events.

Hi there. We are COLECTIVO PASTODISEÑA, a bunch of designers and design students from Pasto, a southern city of COLOMBIA. We are organizing a small exhibition to celebrate de WIDD named "ReUSE: muestra de productos diseñados con materiales reutilizados" (ReUSE: products designed with re used materials).
