About the design

AQUARIDER was designed for rescue work on water. It can quickly transform from car to boat and back again. It applies the principles of hydrodynamics. Inside the body there is an electric peg-top balance machine to keep AQUARIDER in balance. The stretcher can slide out and be used independently. There is also a first-aid kit in the vehicle.

2008 Lotus Cup International Industrial Design Prize is a brand new international design prize that aims to encourage and celebrate all the innovative achievements of industrial design and the contributions of designers both inside and outside of the Hunan province, China.
