About the design

The AquaMonitor is a system that allows users to wirelessly view data relating to water usage from the comfort of their home. The system consists of a Rain water tank sensor unit and a Display Unit. The Rainwater tank sensor is fixed to the top of rainwater tanks and uses ultrasonic transducers to monitor the volume of water. The Display unit processes the information gained from the water tank sensors and provides a user interface to allow users to set-up the system and to view information relating to the water consumption. One Display Unit can accommodate multiple water tank sensors.
