TELE MED CARE
Australian International Design Award 2010

About the design

The product is a desktop multiparameter vital signs monitor featuring a simple user interface enabling video conferencing, messaging, questionnaires and a daily health diary, designed for the care of those with single or multiple chronic disease conditions. Even those who are computer novices are trained within minutes to record a range of vital signs measurements and answer a number of questionnaires regarding their condition/ how they feel. This longitudinal data is then made available to doctors & care-givers, via a dedicated web site, who are able to make early intervention into the patient's treatment in their home, avoiding costly hospitalisations.
