Montreal (Canada) - In addition to the nine members previously announced on 31 August 2009, the Icsid Board has approved the application of the Institute of Apparel Management. Icsid is pleased to welcome this new Educational member to the network.

The Institute of Apparel Management (IAM) has been set up to impart high quality education for shaping a new cadre of "work place ready" professionals for both export & domestic sectors. The premier Institute is now being positioned as a "Multi-varsity for apparel & lifestyle industry" offering a bouquet of contemporary Career-oriented programmes. Being industry supported and with strong linkages in Textile, Apparel, Lifestyle Accessory exports and domestic industries, the internships and placements including classroom assignments have wholehearted support from the members of Apparel & Lifestyle Industry.
