Istituto Quasar (Design University Roma) is an industrial design, architecture and communication design school founded in 1987 as private university for high professional studies. The main aim of the school is to provide a very concrete preparation characterised by a combination of good theoretical knowledge with the practical skills required by the labour's market. All teachers in Istituto Quasar courses are constantly in touch with the new design trends.

Istituto Quasar was also the first school in Italy to create, in early '90s, courses fueled by advanced multimedia and web technology, and is now in partnership with one of the most influential computer graphics and animations publishing house in Italy, Imago Edizioni.

Istituto Quasar provides post secondary education programs that will prepare students for entry-level employment in their chosen fields: graphic, industrial design, architecture, multimedia, space/garden design, animation, 3d modeling, web, etc. All our academic staff, are active artists or professional designers. Our students are from a diverse cultural background which provides an enrichment for the college. We believe in quality and excellence in creativity, creative-diversity, teamwork and also in industry-relevant curricula that prepare students to contribute positively to society.
