China Industrial Designers Association has established in
December 12 1967.
CIDA is the only group that been entitled by ICSID
(International Council of Societies of Industrial Design)
as one of the professional member in Taiwan.

With 40 years long history and dedication,
CIDA has close to one thousand members currently and
has been highly recognized by the society as a powerful
platform to acquire resources, to find talents and to build
the network.

In 2001, CIDA has expanded the scope to form ADA
(Asia Designer’s Assembly) with JIDA and KAID.
The mission of ADA is to switch people’s focus from Europe
to Asia in industrial design and with a goal of building
a strong position in contemporary design world.

Today, CIDA also sees the change of the designer’s role.
We inspire designers not only to generate the good concepts
and making good products, more important to pursuit the true
value of the design - to enhance life quality to all people.

協會簡介

中華民國工業設計協會（China Industrial Designers Association, 簡稱CIDA），
成立於1967年12月12日，本會同時也是ICSID（國際工業設計社團協會）
在台灣唯一的專業團體會員。創會四十年以來，協會擁有近千位包括台灣產業界
學術界與從事設計研究推廣單位等個人和團體會員。

以推動設計服務深耕台灣自許的我們，近年來致力於推動培訓台灣具備跨領域
創新設計力的人才，對於促進台灣產業升級設計人才「適才、適性、適所」的具體
目標貢獻卓著。再者積極參與亞洲設計聯盟ADA區域組織活動，
逐年辦理台、日、韓三國學生新世代設計研習營，
同時也持續推動以設計力建設好台灣的社會益運動，
號召台灣各個世代的工業設計師身體力行「設計為善」、「設計為公」的行動策略，
構築起以具備科技的真、人性的善與環境的美的進步社會願景。

我們期許新一代的設計師除了要贏得產業界對工業設計創新的信賴，
更要贏得台灣社會大眾對設計師的敬重！
