Educational institutions whose activities are consistent with the aims and objectives of Icsid, or institutions offering accredited curriculum in industrial design education or research relating to industrial design may be admitted as an educational member.

Each educational member can attend the General Assembly with two delegates and has one vote.

Minimum entry requirements apply to all applicants in the educational pillar.
