Established in 1982, YODEX (Young Designers’ Exhibition) is the most prestigious and influential design exhibition of its kind. YODEX is a degree show which brings together all of the design graduates’ works under one roof and attracts more than 80,000 visitors from Taiwan and abroad every year. In 5 days of exhibition, visitors witness the dynamic young design power from various design disciplines, such as fashion design, industrial design, communication design, interior design and so on. For design students, YODEX offers an unparalleled opportunity to interact with each other and provides a valuable experience for pursuing their future careers.

This year’s edition of YODEX will be held at the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) in Taiwan, between May 17 – 20 and will feature a section dedicated to Icsid 50. A special exhibition booth will show the role Icsid has played in the development of industrial design around the world.

2007 YODEX will see an exciting mix of up-and-coming designers from 44 universities 70 colleges in Taiwan and 12 design schools from Australia, Hong Kong, Italy, New Zealand, UK and USA. In addition to the exhibition, the organiser Taiwan Design Center will present a series of events, including YODEX Graffiti Party, 2007 Young Designers’ Competition and 2007 YODEX Interior Design Competition. 2007 YODEX offers a great opportunity to see the best designs of young designers.
