“Watermassage” winning project of the 2nd International Roca Design Competition (Wellness)

“WATERMASSAGE” WINNING PROJECT OF THE 2ND INTERNATIONAL ROCA DESIGN COMPETITION (WELLNESS)
Alberto Nogueras Castillo, student of industrial design of the Escola Superior de Disseny ESDI in Sabadell, (Spain) has won the prize of the 2nd International Roca Design Competition “Wellness”, launched by Roca and organised by BCD, Barcelona Design Centre. The jury convened at BCD’s office on 15 May, 2007. The jury also decided to give some mentions to the other finalist projects, for their interpretation of the competition theme with innovative proposals and for their interest in the formal resolution.
“I want everything” by Olga Alberich González graduated in Applied Arts by Llotja school of Barcelona, and Mireia Llurba Fernández , graduated in Interior Design by the Massana school of Barcelona, Spain.
“Cocoon wellness eggsperience” by Marcel Bilurbina Camps, architect by the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura of Barcelona (ETSAB), Spain.
“Ecomatic” by Xavier Creixell Valls and Albert Talarn Sala, students of Industrial Design of the Escola Superior de Disseny ESDI of Sabadell, Spain.
“Morning Dew” by Stefan Alexander Busch, architect by the Hochschule Darmstadt, Germany.
“La pepa” by Míriam Torrens Narbón, student of Interior Design of Lai Escola Superior de Disseny of Barcelona, Spain.
“Wash&Watch” by Tiago Lopes de Almeida, student of Design De Equipamento of the Facultade de Belas Artesa da Universidade of Lisboa, Portugal.
“Vasaltic” by David Fernández Moreno, graduated in Fine Arts and Design in projects and decoration works management by the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Olot, Spain, and Marcel Asso Ministral, Graduated in Design by the Elisava Escola Superior de Disseny of Barcelona, Spain.
“Chromotherapy bathroom & Summer sea bath” by Susana Moreno Ruiz, architect by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura of the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid, Spain.
“Modular” by Rita Andreia da Silva Antunes and Patricia Susana Dos Santos, students of Design De Equipamento of the Facultade de Belas Artes da Universidade of Lisboa, Portugal.
“Tuyna” by Maria Joâo Negrâo Redondo Silva, student of Design De Equipamento of the Facultade de Belas Artesa da Universidade of Lisboa, Portugal.
“Sozu” by Mónica Sofia de Fonseca Abdurehaman and Sara Isabel Chapado Varela, Design students of the Facultade de Belas Artes of the Universidade of Lisboa, Portugal.
