Between October 5 and November 3, 2007, the Gwangju Biennale Foundation will host the 2007 Gwangju Design Biennale that will feature an exhibition, a conference and seminars around the theme of LIGHT - a symbol of Gwangju, the city of light.

Participants will range from world-renowned designers, companies and young designers, who strive to elevate the quality of living through design.

Gwangju Design Biennale 2007 (GDB 2007) will be presenting ’light of this era’ through each theme of the exhibition such as Life, Identity, Green, Human and Technology. The purpose of the 2007 biennale is to increase the value of design in our life. Through a rendezvous of producers and consumers, they will be able to better communicate in harmony with the world.
