UNIVERSIDAD DE LOS ANDES ANNOUNCES THE INNOVATION FORUM: BUSINESS STRATEGY & DESIGN THINKING

Bogota (Columbia) - ZONNA at the Universidad de los Andes invites you to be part of the Innovation Forum: Business Strategy & Design Thinking in which they will offer an overview of current innovation as a driver of business strategy.

This Forum is an excellent opportunity to understand how the design thinking and the traditional analytical thinking are complementary as sources of innovation in order to generate multidisciplinary business strategies, impact, getting economic value, social and cultural development.

ZONNA aware of the importance of the issue has created this specialized forum in which recognized international experts on these topics will share their experiences with businessmen and entrepreneurs. The forum also examines how various working groups assume analysis of the problems of high complexity understanding its structure, in order to propose optimal solutions through innovation processes. The forum will show experiences and ways to integrate creative responses about design, technology and strategy to assume challenges of innovation in enterprises.

The scheduling of the forum is as follows:
For the forum, are appointed leading experts from international institutions greater leadership on matters of innovation from the strategy, design and technology. The forum will have two major sessions at which participants can share experiences with speakers. On Thursday morning, April 17th will have the lectures and in the afternoon, will taking place the Open Zone, a space in which the participants have a direct dialogue with speakers through real cases of management processes, implementation and impact of innovation strategies.

Speakers:
  • PATRICK WHITNEY: Director of the Graduate School at the Institute of Design of the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, an institution known for being the largest and most prestigious graduate school of design and businesses throughout the United States. His publications and conferences around the world refer to how to make technological innovations more humane, the design thinking and its link with the business strategy and methods of communications and interactive products.
  • NATHAN SHEDROFF: Director of the MBA Design Strategic at the California College of the Arts, San Francisco. Linked by more than 12 years of experience in the design, Shedroff is now considered an expert in the field of information architecture, design and interactive media interactions. His experience has published in numerous publications.
  • CARLOS HINRICHSEN: President of Icsid (International Council of Societies of Industrial Design), which integrates 150 organisations around the world in design fields. Director of the Design School of the Professional Institute Duoc of the Universidad Católica de Chile.
  • DAVID SUTHERLAND: Ph.D. Founder and director of the Launch Institute in the United States, formed by a team of management and design consultants that tended to the growth and strengthening of multiple business organizations. Visiting Professor of the School of Business at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia
  • JORGE HERNAN JIMENEZ:  PhD in Bioengineering. Founding Partner & Chief Technical Officer of CARDIACSOLUTIONS (Cardiac Implant startup company). Biotech & intellectual property consultant. Graduate Research (Cardiovascular Dynamics Lab) at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia.
