Montreal (Canada) – Icsid announces the winner of the first student poster competition for World Industrial Design Day. The winning entry was submitted by Carla Sapiain, from the Instituto Profesional DuocUC de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Montreal (Canada) – Icsid reports interest from a total of 46 cities in 27 countries around the world at the close of the World Design Capital™ (WDC) 2012 application process on 31 March 2009. WDC 2012 will be the third designation awarded to a city since the project’s launch in 2006.
