London (United Kingdom) - Sir James Dyson recommends a raft of measures to support product design and manufacturing in the UK, including easing the cost of long-term investment in new product development.

Helsinki (Finland) - The results of this year's Fennia Prize - Good design grows global is a competition, organised by Icsid Promotional Member, Design Forum Finland, will be announced on 19 February, following the Fennia Prize Design Seminar.

Barcelona (Spain) - Product design, interior design and architecture professionals and students who have already submitted their application for the third edition of the International Roca Design Contest 2008-2009 have until 13 March 2009 to submit their designs online.
