Incheon (South Korea) - Organisers of DESIGN KOREA 2009 International Conference are seeking submissions of a range of papers within the overarching theme of globalisation of design and design management. Deadline is 31 August 2009.

New York (United States) - The International Design Magazine, I.D., invites designers and design students to submit their work for the 2010 Call for Entries. Deadline for entries is 1 December 2009.

Amsterdam (The Netherlands) - The Association of Dutch Designers (BNO) is conducting a trade mission to India from 3-7 September 2009, in collaboration with Kyoorius Exchange. The mission has been scheduled to coincide with the Design Yatra, a four-day design congress held in Mumbai.

Beijing (China) - The Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University, Carnegie Mellon University's School of Design and Hong Kong Polytechnic University's School of Design are working together to co-organise an International Conference on Interaction Design from 16-18 October 2009 at Tsinghua University.

Brisbane (Australia) - The Faculty of Law at Icsid Educational Member Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) have joined ranks to offer a Master of Intellectual Property Law program from February 2010.

Seoul (South Korea) - LG Electronics (LG), a major player in the global flat panel display, AV and mobile phone markets, announced that it has won four awards in the 2009 European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) Awards.
