Hannover (Germany) - The call for submission is now open the forth OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD, organised by Icsid Promotional Member, iF International Forum Design. Manufacturers, designers, sales representatives, importers or specialist retailers and students have until 15 June 2009 to submit their entries. The awards ceremony will take place at the OutDoor trade fair, held in Friedrichshafen, Germany from 16-19 July.
 
Excellence in design is an important endorsement that provides customers with orientation on a large market. The OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD 2009 shows consumers what is innovative and functional as well as environmentally friendly and sustainable on the outdoor  market. The OutDoor INDSTURY AWARD has established a solid reputation in the outdoor industry as an outstanding marketing instrument.
 
The OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD has been bestowed since 2006 by the OutDoor trade fair organiser Messe Friedrichshafen. The entire outdoor industry is invited to present their innovative and trendsetting products to a professional jury.

The competition this year will feature two new, additional categories: "Products of high ecological and sustainable value" and "Material innovations". Students are once again invited to take part and submit experimental designs of products that have not yet been realised and studies.

The award winners will be honoured in a special evening event on the first day of OutDoor Friedrichshafen on the stage of the Fashion Show. All prizewinning products will be presented in a special exhibition during the OutDoor trade fair.
