BRAUNPRIZE SELECTS FOUR FINALISTS DURING SECOND JURY SESSION
Kronberg (Germany) - The jury-members of the BraunPrize 2009, an Icsid endorsed event, met for the second round of judging in Kronberg from 8-10 June 2009. The design models are the basis of assessment in the second round of judging. There were 58 model-entries from 16 different countries.
After a detailed and in-depth examination of all design models the jury came up with the following results:
Four finalists were selected. They will be invited to present their ideas at the BraunPrize forum on 16 September 2009 in Kronberg. Members of the forum are international personalities from the sectors design, industry, techniques and media, they will select the winner out of the four finalists.
The BraunPrize winner will receive a trophy money of EUR 12,000. The other finalists will receive a trophy money of EUR 5,000 each. All finalists projects together with 18 further outstanding projects will be part of the BraunPrize exhibition and the BraunPrize poster 2009.
In total there will be 22 design projects with models from eight countries shown at the BraunPrize exhibition. In addition the best Projects of the BraunPrize China and the PremioBraun México will be presented as a photo exhibition.
All participants already received an information about their personal result via email last week.

- 58 projects reached the 2nd round of judging
- Four finalists were nominated and further 18 of the best projects were selected for the BraunPrize exhibiton 2009
