Pasadena (United States) - Following the tragic death of Art Center College of Design alumnus and faculty member Norman Schureman this past weekend, the College has established the Norman Schureman Memorial Scholarship, it was formally announced today by Art Center President Dr. Lorne M. Buchman. The Scholarship will be available to incoming Product Design students.

Seoul (South Korea) - Hyundai Motor Co. will donate US$200,000 to assist the international communities' humanitarian relief efforts in earthquake-stricken Chile. The donation will be made to the government of Chile and relief organisations, through Hyundai's regional office in Chile.
