New York (United States) - Bill Moggridge, designer of the first laptop computer in 1980 and co-founder of IDEO has been named director of the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York.

New York (United States) - After 55 years in print, the oldest product design magazine in the United States has folded. I.D. Magazine Publisher and Editorial Director released a statement on 15 December announcing the decision.
