Ahmedabad (India) - Three universal design labs will be introduced this year at the National Design Institute's three campuses: Ahmedabad, Ghandhinagar and Bangalore. These universal design labs have been created to cater to students irrespective of their branch of design, to evolve products that will make life easier through all demographics.

Hong Kong - The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's School of Design exhibited student works for their annual show. This year's theme, "Food for Thought" focused on communicating design through the latest social networking technologies, of which a viral video named "Zombies' Conference" was created during brainstorming sessions.
