Shenzhen (China) - The Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Shanghai Brand & Design Joint Exhibition and the 6th China (Shenzhen) Brand & Design Collaboration Exhibition will be held from the 14 - 17 May 2010. It will be held in Shenzhen, which was recently designated as a "City of Design" Creative Industrial Estate by UNESCO in 2008.

Seoul (Korea) - Dongdaemun History and Culture Park, which has been undergoing new transformations since the demolition of the Dongdaemun Stadium, hosted the first exhibition of the Design Gallery, "10 Colors, 10 Designers of Seoul".

London (United Kingdom) - In autumn 2009 the Design Council conducted its second comprehensive survey of the UK design industry. Design businesses were asked about the profile and size of their businesses, their clients and the competition they face, their business practices and the education, training and skills of their employees.

Toronto (Canada) - An artwork dedicated to the memory of Police Constable Michael Sweet, who lost his life in the line of duty 30 years ago in March, will be installed this summer on Michael Sweet Avenue, in downtown Toronto.
