Nova Design and Tatung win 2008 iF Golden award for Tatung Wireless VOIP Phone

Nova is pleased to announce that 2 of its products have won 2 iF awards and one of the product will also be receiving iF Golden Award. Together with Tatung, they are the only golden award laureate in the greater china region. The awarded products include Tatung Rice Cooker and Tatung Wireless VOIP Phone.

An unprecedented number of entries entered the 2008 iF product design award, with only 50 golden accepted, the award laureates were among top global brands, such as Apple, Nokia, BMW, Cannon, and Panasonic. Nova Design, together with Tatung, the number one brand in consumer electronics, was honored to celebrate its success on the award ceremony on Tuesday March 4, on the opening day of CeBIT 2008 exhibition in Hanover, Germany.

Nova Design was awarded 8 red dot design awards and a Best of the Best design award in 2008 red dot product design competition. Red dot design award is one of the most prestigious international design competitions. The "Tatung Tricom Conference System," with its unique form and intuitive use, stood out in the most competitive 3C product category.

Technology should always serve people in natural way. That means, technologies should be invisible and intuitive for users. That's the thinking behind the design of Tatung Tricom Conference System. Tricom is a sculpture-like humble ornament instead of a functional machine. It is designed with simple user interface and press-open pop-out key buttons. Nova Design maintained its clean and pure form as a focal point on any conference desk.
