Guangzhou Design Week, Icsid's latest endorsed event, is an international event promoting innovation and design. This year’s design week is scheduled for November 29 - December 4, 2007.

The theme for 2007 is “Design for the future” and the design week will serve as a communicating platform between designers and entrepreneurs. The week comprises of an international design expo, the “KAPOK PRIZE” – China Original Product Design Awards, a design workshop, an international design forum & seminar, international awards & competitions, covering diversity of design fields such as industrial design, branding & graphic design, cityscape & architecture design, interior design and fashion design.
